Integrity: Deep Dive

Integrity: The state of being whole, undivided

To live with integrity is to live with your whole being. Undivided in your thinking and actions.

When you feel, believe a certain way and act in a way that is not in alignment with your internal feelings of beliefs, you are divided. You are out of integrity. This split of energy between your internal and external world creates a division of your energetic resources. It causes a leak.

Energy, life force, leaks from the split between the two. Neither your beliefs nor your actions are getting the whole and undivided self. They are both weaker because of the split.

This results in slow movement in areas of your life that you want to change. Slow to no progress. Lack of energy, exhaustion. Constant internal discord. Discomfort in your body that leads eventually to disease.

All from having an internal thought or feeling that you are not acting on. This belief could be positive or negative. The action could be beneficial or detrimental. This works in all directions, 'positive' and 'negative'. It doesn't matter... a split between your internal world and your external world creates a dissonance that leads to a hemorrhaging of energy that robs you of your ability to make the progress you desire.

So you notice these results in your life... now what? How do you bring these two worlds together into one? How do you INTEGRATE your internal and external world so that you feel a sense of harmony on a daily basis? And that harmony leads to increased energy and the ability to channel that energy into a forward-moving force that results in measurable and noticeable movement in the direction of your choosing.

To integrate is to combine disparate things to make a whole. This of this process like zipping up your coat. It's the act of using the zipper tab to bring together the teeth of the zipper sides and integrating them into one solid closure.

That's what I'm aiming for... an interlocking, a coming together of my internal thoughts and external actions.

Integrity.
